HOW IT ALL STARTED…

Calvary Chapel Vancouver is part of the Calvary Chapel Association of churches, first begun by Pastor Chuck Smith in 1965.

Our story here in Vancouver started in 2020, right in the middle of the Covid pandemic. Churches weren’t allowed to meet indoors, and everything felt uncertain. But God opened a small door—a home Bible study. A few people gathered around Scripture, hungry for fellowship and truth during a difficult season.

From that simple beginning, the Lord slowly grew a church family. Week by week, He brought people together, strengthened faith, and gave us opportunities to share the Gospel with our community.

We’re grateful for every step He’s led us through. Calvary Chapel Vancouver exists because God has been faithful, and we trust Him to continue guiding us in the days ahead.
